Upper & lower eyelid surgery
Removes excess skin and under-eye bags, and the eyes stop looking tired and heavy.

- Anaesthesia
- Local with sedation or general anaesthesia, depending on the scope
- Duration
- 1–2 hours
- Recovery
- 10–14 days before returning to social life
Who usually considers this
- Upper eyelid skin has become hooded, making the eyes look tired
- Visible under-eye bags or dark circles that skincare doesn't fix
- In some cases, excess eyelid skin narrows the field of vision
How it goes
The surgeon removes excess skin and, if needed, fat pockets through an incision in the natural eyelid fold (on the lower lid, often from inside, with no visible scar). Upper, lower, or combined blepharoplasty is planned based on your anatomy.

Common questions
Will there be visible scars?
For upper eyelid surgery the incision follows the natural fold and is barely visible once healed. The transconjunctival technique leaves no external scar at all.
Is it painful?
Not during the procedure — it's done under anaesthesia. Afterwards there's mild tightness for the first few days.
